As a Project Manager in the Capital Projects Unit, Christian is responsible for the development, co-ordination and delivery of major renovation, refurbishment and new build projects across the University. Christian comes to the University with nearly 20 years experience in the United Kingdom managing both Local Authority and private sector projects in education, police, social care and large scale residential works. Since moving to New Zealand, Christian has been responsible for the development of projects for the Otago Regional Council, Presbyterian Support and most recently the University Building One project at the Stadium precinct. Christian studied Building Surveying at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford and is a Chartered Building Surveyor. He emigrated to Dunedin in August 2007.

As Project Manager, Phil is responsible for the delivery of capital projects at the University, ensuring that jobs are completed on time and to budget, and also providing input at the planning stages regarding budget, buildability and timeframe issues. Phil came to the University in 2007 with 25 years' experience within the UK construction industry, most recently within the Design & Build sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
